March ~ Oratorical contest – Kids are provided scholarship opportunities through public speaking
March ~ CCDHH Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Kids are provided scholarship opportunities through public communication
March ~ Essay contest – Kids are provided scholarship opportunities through a written essay contest
March/April ~ Mardi Gras This incredible evening includes live music, a delicious bayou buffet, silent auction, raffles, and dancing.
April ~ Easter egg hunt – Games, prizes, and approximately 10000 Easter eggs for 2 egg hunts. One for kids with special needs and the second is open to the public
June ~ Corn booth at Prairie Fest – Our largest fundraiser of the year selling corn on the cob that is roasted on our custom made grill for a fun filled 4-day weekend.
September ~ Brew at the Bridge – another fundraiser selling pretzel necklaces ~ Chalk the Walk – a community event providing kids the opportunity to express their art talent on a square of sidewalk.
October ~ Pumpkin races – A fundraising event where pumpkins are decorated and fitted wheels and axles and raced downhill in downtown Oswego, it’s much like a soap box derby but with pumpkins
December ~ Family Christmas Project – We provide gifts, food, hats and mittens, and bikes to over 250 kids for the Christmas season. It is a largest community project
