I've been researching card nights as an easy fundraiser. Eucker needs 4 per table with perhaps 4 or 5 tables in total. Cut throat tournament everyone plays as individuals and deals twice at each table. Best score at the end of the night wins. Everyone plays & meets everyone during the rounds, so a good activity for meeting members. Entry fee range from $5 to $25 per person for 3 hours of entertainment and proceeds go to club/charity. Don't care for Eucker then pick a game that fits the group, hearts, bridge, etc. Have a business donate door prizes, or leave a little cash for the winner. Find a company to sponsor the event and we have more money coming in... I'm suggesting same info to Yorkville Kiwanis and feel it might be a good networking event for chambers

I have a Euchre & Bunco scholarship fundraiser scheduled for Kiwanis on Saturday, Jan 24 at 4:30pm at St. Joseph Cabinetry & Design. If it proves successful I would like to try it for the Optimists later in the Spring. If you would like to play it is $20 for pre-registration. That includes food from Amici D'Amore, cash bar, a chance for door prizes. Call me at 815-263-6336.
